Why make this site?
Simple, we found that there was a lack of quality doctor rankings out there. We wanted to make a site that would take into account the medical side of things, and not just "how nice" the office staff is. We also wanted to make a site that was more local.
What is included in your research?
The doctor research undertaken by our editors has two main threads and encompasses both qualitative and quantitative analysis. We evaluate the doctor's background like the quality of their education, the residencies/fellowships they've done, the certifications and honors they've achieved and any relevant positions they hold. We also look for any malpractice records and all the possible reviews that we can find for that doctor. This approach gives us a standard level and quality of data which, in turn, enables us to benchmark doctors with both more precision and more assurance.
Why isn't my doctor listed?
Could be a lack of good/quality reviews, could be they have a history of malpractice suits, could be a subpar education. At the end of the day, it comes down to the fact that we only have 10 spots per category. Your doctor might be a great doctor, but he might not be a top 10 doctor for his category.
I am a doctor and I think I belong on your list...how can I get an evaluation?
If you are a doctor and you think you should be on our list contact us at [email protected] with your name, address, email address, phone # and your NPI #. Please include the categories you would like to be considered for.
How often do you update your lists?
We re-evaluate our lists throughout the year and update them as needed.
There is an error in a listing or a broken link how do I correct it?
Simply contact us using our form, and we'll update the listing.
I've made the list, can I use your logo or my ranking on my website or in my marketing?
We encourage doctors to use our logo and rankings on their site and in their marketing.
