Doctor Michael Baraga graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 2006. He followed this with a residency in orthopaedics from UM-JMH and a fellowship in sports medicine from University of Pittsburgh in 2012. His areas of expertise include knees, quadriceps and paterllar tendon ruptures, ligament tears(ACL, PCL, MCL and LCL), multi-ligament kneed injuries, articular cartilage injury and transplants, meniscus transplants, knee arthroscopies, meniscus tears, patellar instabilities and medial patellofemoral ligament tears. In addition to seeing his patients, he is also Vice Chair of Operations and Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He speaks English and Spanish.
